Disco 3 aircon

Hi all, I recently bought a D3 SE. The drivers side air con doesn't get cold at all. The passenger side does get cold, but not very cold. Any ideas on what may be causing the drivers side issue?

Hi loanrangie, yea both the same temps or different temps doesn't change the outcome. However, if I put it all the way up to heat I do get hot air from all the vents. Just no cold air.

Have you had it regassed? We had similar symptoms, although ours were caused by a leaky Schrader (dumped the entire charge in less than 12 weeks). It might just be low on gas.

Hi BradC, yea probably is a little low on gas, as it doesn't get really cold.

Possibly the PS side control is faulty.

If they are like the D1 and D2 the heater flow does not shut off and it is all operated by air flow . Our old D2 had the same issue on the drivers side, would always blow hot air on your feet because of a faulty shut off flap. Glad to be ride of that poor excuse for a 4wd
