Guys,

I'm trying to work out wha the differences might be between the 2 uni Joints. They are both 75mm across and 27mm cup but they both have different Part Numbers. Does anyone know what the differences might be?

Rob

(btw: Reason for asking is that I have spare UJ's for my Tdi300 and just wondering if they might fit my Puma)

Just reviving an old post.....

Re: PUMA Front Driveshaft Uni-Joints, are they Different to the previous defender models and does anyone have the part code as well as the physical size?

Puma front shaft uses a larger uni for greater operating angle, They are a 1330 series uni, as opposed to 1300 for defender and 1310 for rrc, county and s3. 1330 uni is 92mm across, 1310 are 82 from memory. A solid cross 1330 uni will take 1600nm, where a 1300 is about half that.

I believe the REARS are the same as previous Defenders with the Fronts being different??

The Defender TD5 used 1330 series UJs on the front shaft.
