Anyone know the bore size of the 101 MC? Is it the same front and rear?
TIA.

Hi Gav,
I have a funny feeling that I have a NOS master cylinder at home...
How do I measure it for you?
Cheers,
GG.

Thanks - I'm after the bore size so piston needs removing - there will be a circlip in the end of it - once removed it will pull apart, but don't go to too much trouble if you're unsure.

I've got a spare at home, too.
What are you after, the seal size, or are you getting it resleeved?

Just after the bore size and wondering if the bore for the front and rear are the same is all. Just thinking out loud at the moment. [emoji4]

From memory both sides of the master cylinder is the same bore of the same size.
I believe a series three master cylinder will fit and work correctly, except one brake pipe outlet is in the wrong spot.
If you rework the pipes a series three master cylinder works.

Looking at a old post.
Progress report. (https://www.aulro.com/afvb/101-forward-controls-and-variations/84095-progress-report-7.html)
the photo shows the out side of the master cylinder being stepped...………….now none the wiser.

Thanks, don't need to replace mine either, just doing some research. [emoji106][emoji4]
