I got growled at by members here because I had to wrap a strap around my bar to get unstuck due to my bar having NO recovery points, so I came up with a plan to fit them on the LR factory bar. 12mm steel plate welded in. Sorry about some of the pics, rather crap camera on my phone. A few better ones after powder coating.

Depends on the year his Defender is. If you hit a pedestrian with a Defender with a Bullbar on it, you'll be having a bad day anyway.

Not sure why people can't be happy about things others do rather than drag them down all the time to be honest.

Yep i like your thinking mate. Nice and strong.

I have to ask though if i may.

Why did you do button tacks on the front instead of running a continuous bead like you did to the inside? Or are they all button tacks?

Either way it wont be coming off any time soon. I had thought of doing the same but got worried about forward protrusion.

I use Jate rings. They are low so that the truck will be pulled forward and also upwards

I upgraded the bolts to high tensile 12.9. that bolts hole I used is reinforced from factory with support tube inside chassis.

Funny, I thought exactly the same about ADR's because of some Perentie owners having to cut off similar protrusions on their bumpers.
Not sure if it varied by State or just the individual Roadworthy Tester.

If you get pulled over all they are going to ask is they are cut off......no worse than winch rollers, good, wire rope, spotties the proteude from bars....
