It hasn’t worked for ages...might have worked when we first got the defer either way looking to fix it.
What locks the blue piece to the steering column/shaft?
It works fine with me spinning it by hand but it doesn’t turn when the shaft turns.

Just thinking I did replace the steering wheel not long after purchase...

And I have this gap

Would I be right in assuming I’m missing something or I have the wrong steering wheel??

Msing the tags on back of the steering wheel that goes into the slots on the blue bit to turn it.

Umm, thanks....it’s all obvious now. I assume the new steering wheel should have tags?

They seem to work better without the rubber boot pushed into the plastic shroud thing...

It appears I should have removed the cancelling tab off my old steering wheel.....
Thanks to Mario for sorting

Yes, you need "2" in the above picture. And note that when installing it, the "arrow" on the blue bit should point at the stalk. The "2" can be moved relative to the wheel.

Thanks for the tips on the blue arrow, I figured it would point straight ahead ‘up’
