I noticed Gus and his mates from the US.
Only spoke with him briefly but he mentioned an alpine trip to get to Cooma.

Looking at it Colin, I’m thinking it would have been a great trip, and wishing I’d have been there. If anyone’s got info on exactly where they went, that could be handy [wink11]
I wouldn’t mind a week or so up in the HC towards the end of this his summer in the Series 2a.

If you're looking at VIC high Country I'd be interested, I want to take Wallit (the Series III) up through Gaffneys Creek, Woods Point etc. (not exactly 4WD, you could do it in a Falcon)
Could head up via Aberfeldy, there are a few old gold mines I haven't visited for a while although some were challenging to get into & out of.
