Lifting out the engine

Hi all,
Best wishes for the new year.
Anyone like to recommend an effective way to lift the 2.0 ltr motor?
Where is the best place to fix a chain the to motor, or the best location for a pair of slings?

I placed a chain around the complete unit with a steadying strap around the front pulley.

My major issue was that the bulkhead had to be released on one side and lifted about 2" to provide clearance for the gearbox to clear the chassis crossmember.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181231/210dc241b6b26235d5fcf56bed92bb49.jpg

I haven't taken out a 2 litre but they would probably be the same as a 2.25 which I have taken out many times. It is much easier to seperate engine and gearbox and the gearbox then come out through the passenger door if need be. There should be two engine lifting points one on the front of the engine and the other on the back, basically flat steel loops. I usually use rope to each one as I can adjust the level by changing the knots. I also have a levelling bar with chains and I sometimes use that but it doesn't let the engine get right back to the firewall and can get in the way a bit.
