I want to use this Salisbury rear in a future car build 147982

The drive flange end seems a bit ify in the way its assembled, my parts manual, and an online supplier show more pieces, but my Haynes manual shows what I have.

147983 147984 147985

147986 bearing 147987

147988 one slightly dished washer showing scoring both sides 147989 147990

Oil seal 147991 will replace it was flogged out

Drive flange (with reasonably good nick Speedi Sleeve)147992 washer147993 147994

Finally nut 147995 other end if its relevant 147996

Why is the large washer scoring and should it be cupped.

Cheers Paul

That slightly cupped washer behind the seal is an oil slinger to keep oil away from the seal. It should be straight and I would say it has been damaged / bent by repeated seal removal/replacement over the years.
