As much as I like the look of the Prospeed roof rack, I'm not a fan of the solid floor.
Has anyone put a mesh floor in, a la Tracklander/Jaram, or any of the generic fitting, gutter-mount jobs?
Would it be possible to get something made up, or are the mounts too awkward?

The ProSpeed floor is made up of (up to) 9 plastic panels which simply screw into place. They can be easily removed to fit accessories (like jerry can holders, spare wheel carriers etc.) or for lashing down awkward loads. It would be quite easy to manufacture a mesh floor and simply screw it into place onto the rack.
The full floor acts like a tropical roof and I've noticed it keeps the car noticeably cooler when sitting in direct sunlight.

If you want a mesh floor/platform Rhino make a perfectly good one

Each of my plastic panels developed a noticeable curve/droop in less that a year even though my car is garaged most of the time. I guess this was due to the sun and heat but disappointing all the same.

I hadn't realised they are plastic until DieselLSE and you pointed it out. I don't have a garage or shade, so that's probably not a good idea for mine.
I'm thinking mesh for easy tie down options.
Ta for the advice.
