HVAC Ventilation Error Message

Hi guys.

Did a scan this evening with my GAP IID tool after it failed to connect immediately.

Got the following fault code message.

Model L319 - Discovery 4 2013
Vehicle scanned on 14 Aug. 2019 22:18:28

B1083-01 (28) Recirculation damper motor - General failure information - general electrical failure

Before I clear it, is this something to be worried about?

I’m not sure I’d be overly worried about it. I’d clear it then find out how to fix it, if in deed you need to even have it. I guess though, being “recirculating”, you probably do need it, or will at least want it working at some point.

I wouldn't worry about it. It occurred once in July. It isn't unusual for these cars to throw up errors which aren't real. Every time I scan I see something especially after more than a month. If you start seeing it regularly or it doesn't clear then you may have a problem.
