Using little of my intelligence, I severed the rear LH brake pipe on my 2002 110 while trying to pursuade the a frame ball joint out. Swearing ensued. Having no brake pipe bending experience or tools I ordered what I believed to be the replacement part. (SGB112410).
However when it arrived I didn't fit quite right (bends appeared slightly wrong and screwed in very loosely to the Junction /calliper) and when topped up with brake fluid, it leaked from the Junction.
Acording to some research a 110 has 10mm brake fittings so I assumed I had 3/8 Imperial on the new brake pipe which would explain its slight looseness. I then purchased two adapters BQ49 from this site BrakeQuip Thread Adaptors - Sealing Combination | WBBHS (https://brakehose.com.au/thread-adaptors/)
However the male 10mm fitting will not fit into the calliper(too large) , I assume due to the thread size.
Long story short, I'm wondering what the more experienced mechanics amung us would do or does anyone know the part number if you have a 2002 110?
Also I found this previous thread
that appears to be the same issue however reversed.
Would ANR2779 be the part number I'm after?
Thanks in advance.
