In the weekend did the head gasket and thought I would check the bolt so ripped the sump off and put a spanner on the bolt to undo it it felt tight but when I started to undo it,it did not feel right then I could here the pump turning had to use a G clamp on the sprocket to force it against the shaft to get bolt out.
The sprocket is worn with a round hole where it should have a flat to drive against pump shaft the shaft on the pump rotor is stuffed as well I am stuck out in goulburn tring to chase up parts so far the cheapest is $900 problem is you have to buy the whole pump and the pump housing is part of the stiffener plate.
Will post pictures when I get back to sydney If any one no where there is a stuffed motor I can rob for parts otherwise will hire a car and drive to Sydney tuesday morning my phone number is 0412160376 I am in the goulburn libary at the moment looking for wreckers
