Hello

I've searched but not found.... Is there replacement lens available for the 2008 headlights?

I have badly sun damaged plastics, sanding and polishing has made a huge improvement but I'm still not real happy with them - I know we can get the glass for a 2004.

Thanks

Thanks,

I have:
Headlamps - Bi-Xenon (for low & high beam)
Headlamps - Active (Cornering/steering)

looks like I need this page - HEADLAMPS AND FRONT FLASHER LAMPS (FROM (V)6A000001 TO (V)9A999999) - RANGE ROVER (D4) 2002-2009 (https://allbrit.de/epc.cfm?PAGE=4170105C&CAR=TLJ&SPRACHE=EN) ? Can't see a replacement Lens, it has clips and looks like it should be easy to remove.....

Found 2010-12 Range Rover Vogue L322 - Headlight lens plastic covers (https://www.bimmerjakes.com/en/land-rover/67-143-range-rover-vogue-l322-headlight-lens-plastic-covers-880381572620.html#/114-left_right-pair)

Still searching for 2006-09

I have a machine polisher you can try. Cutting compound with polisher usually works ok on other cars but I also need to use it on my L322.

Thanks Pete - they were so bad I started with 1200 wet/dry sandpaper, then 1500, then 2000, then 2500, then polish - all using a 3inch machine. Spent quite a few hours on them (removed from car) and was actually happy when done - however, 1 week on and they already look a bit naff.....

I found Disco4 on Aliexpress for a resonable cost but so far I have not found 06-09 L322.

At least the 2008 L322 headlights are not too badly priced, compared to the 2010 facelift headlights.

Mine are a bit pitted, so might buy replacements too next year.

GMS Spares at Riversly NSW have a used set. Also cloudy. See Gumtree.

I've just seen a quote for a new 2010 drivers side headlamp at approx. $4300.00... To be clear that's just the drivers side headlamp on its own!

Once you have done all that hard work you need to spray paint lens with a uv stabalized clear.

The inside as well, to protect from the UV generated by the xenon (HID) globes.

Just thought I would add something to this thread.... I recently had cause to try and have a go at the headlights on our old Volvo.... they were getting yellowed etc from being out in the sun a lot, and I was worried they mght not get through rego inspection. Anyway, years ago (maybe 10 or so) in a carpark demo, somebody showed me a product called FW1. It made a difference to the car headlights I had at the time in the demo, but I didnt buy any then, because the demo had done the job [biggrin] .
I finally decided to buy some - minimum from the web site is 3 cans for about $90 , or you can find people on ebay selling single cans for about $40. (so it only took about 10 years for their car-park demo to pay off)
As you can see in the photos, it did make some difference. However, the lights in this case were not only oxidized/hazy but also pitted. My opinion is that as long as their is no pitting, this product will get rid of the yellow haze.
