it ran fine for the first few months but  now it has rough idle when cold gets better when hot. found o2 sensor wires worn through re joined them and still having issues  bank 1 sensor 1 not getting hot  can some one help

It is possible that your problem may be due to the method you have used to join the wires. My understanding is that these lines, should not be soldered, but joined by crimping.

Correct, a quality crimp is the best method.

But only for longevity, nothing to do with electrical conductivity.  The end of a soldered join becomes a break point if the wire leading to it can move due to the inflexibility of the soldered section.

Like Graeme says  soldered joints in high stress environments will fail structurally.

 Bosch advise that the wiring off O2 sensors, particularly off their manufacture, be joined by crimping, as it is essential for there performance to, be able to reference the air via the wires. If soldered this sensing is not possible.
