Morning all 5 year looker,1st post
My question is in no way blaming nor shaming.
We have had our D4 07/2014 since Aug 2017.
Has any one had this issue whereby the speed of veh is 4kmh slower than actual speed.
This has been shown by my heads up unit and the many digital speed units at roadwork sites around our state.
Veh is always fitted with BLR recommended size, rated tyres.
What if, anything has been done to rectify other than re changing tyre specs.
Regards G

This is normal to pretty much every vehicle produced.

It’s due to laws and tolerances.

You can correct using a Gap IID tool

Completely normal with almost every vehicle sold in Oz, they are normally 5-6 kph out.
I would leave it as is and make allowance with your speed.

all five cars and two motorbikes I've owned have been the same. about 5% out (5km/h out @ 100km/h). It's completely normal.

You can fix it by fitting 265/65 R18s! [bigrolf]

I fixed mine by changing the tyre size to the next up (5% taller) via GAP Tool

Mine was 5-6% out. I put on 285 60 18 tires which are 5% bigger than standard. Fixed the speedo but my odometer is now 5% under. But I can fix that when I buy an iid
