It should 'just work', I think. I have a 2015, and both my wife's Iphone and my android connect seamlessly via bluetooth. Once connected, the 'phone' button under the top screen offers up the usual last 10 received/dialled/missed etc, and a phone book option. Certainly did nothing complex or special to make it happen....

Probably improved in later years, however mine had a limit on phone book size. Needed to share only a portion - using the groups like on tombie’s pic.

CarPlay renders it useless obsolete now.

I have a 2011 D4 and iPhone. Last call and address book etc all work without problem in mine. Don't remember ever having to do anything special to get these features to work, other than pairing the phone with the car. Think I'm on my third iPhone since I've had this car, and never a problem with any of them. Old pic below - I've got a newer cradle in the same location now to fit the iPhone X.

When I first paired my phone there was an option to tick which said upload contacts etc.. or something like that.

Sorry to hijack this thread but BMKal, can you please share how you have mounted your Nav screen?

"KUDA" mount for the Discovery 3/4. Not sure if they are still available - AMAZON is showing out of stock and not sure if/when will be back in stock.

TPMS screen is also mounted to the KUDA mount, via a flexible gooseneck screwed into the side of the KUDA body. I have been surprised with how well this thing supports the weight. It has been installed since 2016 and nothing has ever failed / moved, and I have driven some pretty rough roads since that was installed. Still also using the same phone mount, though I have had to install a new cradle on it to accommodate the larger iPhone X. Have been thinking of buying a console mount and shifting the phone down to that, as it is not easy to see the screen where it is behind the steering wheel.

Given my current “upgrades” and removal of my GPS from that location….. a PM *may* sort something for an interested person [emoji56]
