Has anyone had issues with the tow pro elite locking the brake system when the headlights or park lights are engaged. My research so far indicates that you need to put an adaptor on to the CAM BUS as it uses the service brake pin for diagnostics. Does anybody else know another work around.
Cheers

This sounds as though the 2nd trailer parker light wire which uses the electric brake pin in the trailer socket hasn't been cut. Long time ago but when the wire wasn't cut and auto lights turned on the lights in a tunnel caused trailer brakes to apply. The wire is usually cut just behind the left tailight cluster inside or outside the vehicle.

As per Graemes post above, its sounds like your install hasnt been done correctly. A wire in the factory loom needs to be disconnected and a diode also added to protect the CJB from any spikes.
Who did your install?

Have a look here. parking lights come on whilst braking (aulro.com) (https://www.aulro.com/afvb/l319-discovery-3-and-4-a/278608-parking-lights-come-whilst-braking.html)
Thread #8 has a PDF drawing of the plugs and shows where to connect the brake controller.
