Howdy folks,
I took this distributor apart many months back to fit a new points set. I took plenty of pictures , downloaded them to my pc which has now carked it. Can anybody tell me please where the two wires attach to, orange and black.
Thank you,

Under the nut at the end of the curved spring. You might need to fix the insulation on the black lead.

Under the Nut may be a bit misleading.
Good explanation here.

Instead of trying to fix the insulation ( it will fail when it is least convenient, ask me how I know ), get yourself one of these (https://classiccarpartsaustralia.com.au/lucas-distributor-low-tension-connector-(pig-tail-wire)-with-lucar-connecter-37h2981lucas), although you need to check fitment as they are not all the same.
