Hi all,
Had my alternator replaced yesterday by an indie.
Now today AC is no longer cold.
Is there a chance they left something not plugged in?
Cheers Rich

Nothing relates other than the serp belt however get gas level checked before you panic.

If for whatever reason the compressor was unplugged you should see faults logged. The SDV6 has a clutch in addition to the displacement valve, so you have 2 devices that would leave unhappy fault codes if there was a physical issue. If you have a GAP it'd pay you to look at the system pressure. That's a pretty good indicator for go/no-go on the compressor and a telltale if there is insufficient gas.

Sorry to ask a dumb question - was the engine running when you took the screenshot?

Ok
Well it was a coincidence!
AC was only about 50% charge and that stopped it working.
The IIDTool didn't show the HVAC readings because it was connected using a short extension cable.
When direct it shows.

It’s designed to severely mess with your brain those coincidences.

The HVAC is on the medium speed CAN bus. Perhaps your cable isn't a complete passthrough.
