I’m new to land rovers, I have just purchased a 2014 Discovery 4. The front passenger door will not lock or unlock via the Key (remote) or via the drivers door. However if you use the lock on the front passenger door it will unlock and lock the other doors.
Is this a new actuator or something else?
I’ve also noticed that on occasions all the windows lower when you unlock the car? I had a ford that done this when the battery was going flat.

Yes it’s a faulty actuator.
Windows all down is a function on the remote when you hold the unlock button for a few seconds.

A low or flat battery will cause a multitude of problems and faults in any modern car
ensure the battery is in good condition and terminals have good connections before anything else

You may have to remove teach the car what the window limits are for full up and down, common when battery starts to fail. And it's a function on the fob as stated.
