Need new battery for 2013 D4 HSE.

Its finally come time to replace the battery in my D4 again. Obviously don't want to pay for a dealer to do it (like i did last time... boy oh boy $$$!)..... So what should i be looking for with regards to the best brand and places to buy? I've looked at Repco but they don't seem to have much to offer. Any help appreciated.

I previously used an SSB but I didn’t get a good life from it so I switched back to an old favourite of mine, the Varta H3/G14 AGM. Expect however it to cost a little over $500.

You should use an AGM. You should also reset the battery monitor system after changing it using a GAP tool or equivalent to ensure you get the maximum life out of it.

I only use the Varta G14 AGM. Expensive but good.

Thankyou both for your recommendation. Hubby is capable of fitting it, so i'm going to order a Varta G14 AGM. Do it once, do it right!!

It's a shame you are so far away, I took the 12month old one out of my D4 and put the old one in it before it went to the wreckers.

If you have an Autobarn store nearby, they should have one in stock. I got my current G14 from Autobarn in Kalgoorlie ex stock.
