Steering rack tie rod ends

No very easy, rack ends with tie rods just unscrew once you undo the plastic boot. There is a plastic guard that can be removed on either side to make access easier. If they haven't been replaced before you will need some stilsons to undo them on the inner side, new ones have flats to fit a large spanner.

Silly me didn’t look at the thread section. But my answer is the same. Obviously a lot wheel alignment will be the next step.

There's a trap for young players in here - apparently LR used racks with two different thread sizes.

From Rimmer Bros website: "Includes M16 tie rod & M14 track rod ends. Please check the tie rod threads fitted to your vehicle as both M20 & M16 were used intermittently by Land Rover throughout the chassis range"

Mine were M16 on a 2015 SDV6. You actually have to do half the job in advance to be able to order the right parts [bighmmm]

Any reputable seller state clearly which parts fit which year model. It’s an Aor B choice. Earlier models have different size threads.

One thing I found is no matter how carefully you try and copy the length of the old rods your steering will be miles out so an alignment is immediately necessary.
