Sadly my beloved and faithful D4 has decided to join the ranks of those with a broken crank .
I don't think it is an option to repair but what options beyond taking of all the bits I can use on another D4 if I try another one.
Located in Gippsland.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Cheers Ted

For something completely different drop in a RRS 3.6 V8....When the V6 breaks. (https://www.aulro.com/afvb/l319-discovery-3-and-4-a/301916-when-v6-breaks.html)

Now looking for a replacement and disposing of the old one,, only being offered scrap value for it.
Is it of use to someone?
I have been removing any bits that might be useful for a replacement.
Thinking 2013 8 speed is the way to proceed.

My D4,same year at 205K kms regular oil changes with Hpr 5....still no guarantee will not be in the same boat!
I guess a low kms motor from a write off.
Could be worth a try though?
