Manual mode.

L322, 6 cylinder diesel, 5 speed GM automatic.
Transmission and TC fully rebuilt following reverse failure.
Manual mode does not work, under acceleration it behaves as if in drive, under deacceleration it neutralizes.

Any clues? Is it a transmission, computer, selector or tourque converter issue?
Transmission guy claims to not know.

I have no idea how to do that.

I can't suggest anything as I know nothing about that gearbox.

Gut feeling tells me it's a converter issue, but I have no qualifications to back my hunch.

Can you hold the lever not quite fully where is should be working, looking for an indication that the selector lever/cable might be slightly out of adjustment?
