Hi
I have some ENV diffs which I acquired with a job lot of spares.
How can I tell which vehicle (Land Rover??) they fit?
I also have axle tubes - again I don't know what they fit

They were fitted to the 2A and B Forward Controls and I think the one tonner too. On the rear originally but later to the front also.I am a bit hazy on the details now but the were not particularly strong. There was a little pinion bearing the other side of the crown wheel and the casting seemed a bit weak. I broke mine so removed them and fitted Salisburys.

As Keith says, pretty much. The ENV axles were only on the 2B 110 forward Control, and, I believe, on the One Ton, although note that the One Ton was never sold in Australia. I believe two, maybe three may have actually found their way here.
The 2B, however, was moderately successful in Australia, although I think the later ones had salisbury axles, so the ones you note probably came from them.

Thanks for the replies. One diff has 5.57 painted on it - would this be the ratio? From what I have read elsewhere in the Forum the ratio is 4 something (I can't find the original post!)

I think the standard ratio is 4.7:1, so it is quite likely that the one with 5.57 painted on it has a non-standard ratio.
