Question, are sill tanks (LPG) avalable of the rack to fit into a late 90s disco.
Any info will help hasten the purchase of the copilots own wheels.

Short answer is YES, they are used by people setting up dieselgas installations. try www.dieselgas.com.au/home.htm I am sure they have a WA rep.

Sly you say sill tanks or do u mean the 2 tanks that take the place of the main fuel tank?
You have petrol or diesel disco?
I got my twin tanks from AAA in Welshpool but they take the place of original petrol tanks

if they fit under the floor behind the sills they will be too small to have any real decent range plus the complexity of plumbing the 2 tanks that arent side by side. The twins in place of fuel tank are the best option. Dieselgas only needs a small tank as its not the primary fuel.

The sill tanks are 20ltrs per side and to my way of thinking if you still have your original tank plus an extra 40ltrs thats pretty good, espescially if it's cheap like lpg. If it's for diesal then 4oltrs will be good for at least 120ltr of diesal(going on the 1/3 ratio) This would substantially increase range and power.

40 ltrs of lpg is not worth the cost of installation, on a V8 you will be lucky to get 150 - 200 k's out of it.

Yeah 40ltrs isn't much for a V8 but if it's 40ltrs on top of your petrol then that's gotta help, an extra 150-200k's at lpg prices isn't a bad thing, also Sly is in W.A and with the rebates they get it's much cheapper to put lpg on.
We still don't know if it's petrol or diesel though. If petrol i agree for the stuffing around you'd be better with a couple of jerry cans. But if it's diesel then go for it better power and economey.
