TD5 turbo spool up

I have been asked at what point does the turbo kick in. For the life of me I can't remember. I also can't find it in the manuals. Does anyone know at what revs the turbo kicks in?

Nothing technical to back this up, but mine feels like it cuts in around 1800 rpm (but I have a straight through exhaust which may change things slightly).

There will probably be a factory graph of power/torque somewhere out there to give you a proper figure.

max boost will be available from just after the peak in the torque curve and max delivery just before the peak in the power curve.

That graph shows me what the D2 tells me,it just loves 2100rpm with a load on.

It is also rev limited to 4850

Mine sounds bad enough at 3850. Hate to hear what 4850 sounds like. I don't think my tacho goes that high!
