I have a recently aquired 1991 Vogue SE which is to be modded to a weekend rock crawler and tourer and i already have the 300tdi auto disco from which will come the required motor/box/transfer case. The electrics must all go from under the seats for water protection so the seats will be swapped for manual units. The ABS will be swapped for normal brakes (all engineered) and the ECU of course will go. Question? Which of the relays, fuses and electric gizmos under the seats relate to the seats? The harnesses all seem to blend together and the maze of wiring is daunting. I can handle all the old fashioned wiring OK but a guide here as to what is what would be great as it could save a lot of time and frustration. Has anyone done this that could help?
Anyone want electric leather seats as swap for manual velour jobs?
Anyone want full Wabco ABS complete with computor as swap for Normal power assist system ?

Maybe interested in a seat swap. What colour and condition are they in & where about are you located.

Get yourself the workshop manual...it's all in there....don't remember offhand whether it's in book 1 or 2

Hi Kevin, The seats are a cream colour , the left one is beaut but the drivers one has a split at the inside seam of the outer pad (if that makes sence) about 150mm long. The electrics on the left are fine, the drivers side the switch for recline goes back but wont bring the seat forward again . this is overcome by using a memory position to go forward and then adjust back,so the motor and mechanicals are good but a glitch with the switch or a connection i guess . I will have a look at that very soon. the rest of the drivers side functions are all good. i am located in Sydney near Hornsby. If this is of interest let me know the same stuff about yours.

Thanks for the query, Ian
