I know how to upgrade a hard drive on a system, but how about upgrading the system around a hard drive....?
I'm running the most recent release of Ubuntu, headless, and using it as a torrentbox and network drive (LAMP server).
The current PC (Compaq, P3 1Ghz) is in a big case, that I want to down-size into a smaller case, to take up less room, make less noise etc... The smaller case one I have currently contains a Abit, P4 1.6Ghz.
Is it a relatively "simple" matter of swapping the HDD or is there more to it? or do I need to rebuild it?
