Gday all,
As many of you know, I'm running a 3.5V8 in a IIa.
The IIa came with an electric fuel pump, and I'm wondering if it's a recognisable pump, and if so is it able to fuel a 3.5 or was it really only a 2.25 pump?
TIA

Hi Slunnie
Obviously the 2a was a 6cyl originally.
These pumps were painfull at the best of times, possibly why they were a double so you flicked over to the second side for emergency.
I ditched mine, fitted an electronic inline(Faucett I think was the brand) and never had any more problems.

AFAIK , that is a Facet electronic, although there are some Mitsubishi pumps that look the same.
Some mechanics put them in instead of replacing the Facet "tick -tick"

I think you are correct Phillip,I didnt look closely at the pic first time around!!!!
the smaller Fawcett does up to 4.5L motors, then there is a bigger one that does up to 6.5 lts,so it should be good!!!

Excellent, thanks for that fellas. I thought that I'd better just check before tearing other things apart.
