I have a little app that shows up/download speeds,,

this arvo it was showing a small but constant up load of around 5kbs WITH a smaller download of around 4kbs,,

I played around inside my firewall but nothing that had upload authority was open,,,

is there a program that tells me exactly what program is uploading stuff?

yes, I've already thought the worst but all my virus stuff came up clean--

From a command prompt, type:
netstat -b

This will output the active connections and the executable associated with the connection. ;)

Is Kerio the only firewall you are using or is the Windows firewall turned on still?

If you run netstat with you browser, mail etc closed, it will give you an idea of any apps that are keeping a connection active.
