Hi all,
Wannabe Deefer owner doing some homework. This is going to be a bit of a how-long-is-a-piece-of-string question, I'm afraid! :)
I have driven both a Td5 and a Tdi 300 and while I like both I think I will probably want to go the extra power that is available from fuel pump/intercooler/chip mods (depending on which motor it is). Now the tricky bit: not too surprisingly the 300's I'm looking at have a few k's on them by now. One I'm tempted to look at has about 150,000 km on it. Now, how many k's is too many before you have to be nervous about uping the engine's power output? I realise it's going to depend on the condition of the engine and drivetrain, but how many k's before you really worry? As you'll gather I'm new to diesels and so am after the collective wisdom & experience of the forum. :TakeABow:
Thanks!
