Thats once seriously clean underside and nice looking 110.

Out of interest how much lift have you given it with those new springs and dampers? Im assuming its quite a bit with the cracked rear trailing arms and dislocation cones.

Are you on standard damper lengths of increased?

What cruise control did you fit?

Sorry the ARB diff is on my brothers 00 110. Its was $290 from arb but it is for a dana 60 (same pattern) so sometimes ARB get confused if you ask for one for a landrover.

The cruise is from an aussie mob called Autron which you should be able to google. It was $750 fitted.

The lift is about 2 1/2 inches - using OME springs with spacers and 80series front shocks and GU rears on the back.

The front driveshaft shook like a helicopter, so the DC shaft out of the 90 is going in. Only hassle is it has to be made 65mm longer!

Gday mate,
Just want to pick your brains a little about the suspension setup you have.
Iam looking to do a simalar setup to mine just so I know what your talking about the DC shaft means "Double Cardan" ?If so why didnt you put a Double Cardan on your exsisting front shaft?
Also did you do anything about your castor like Haultech bushes or custom radius arms?Last thing your rear suspension picture I can see kinked rear trailing arms just wondering if you bought them or customized them yourself?

Sorry for so many questions mate but Iam trying to do as much research as possible before doing any mods and seeing what other peoples have done.
Cheers Azza

The springs I have been using are OME 755 in the back and 764 in the front. The recommended 767 in the front are too hard I think.

I have use QT front radius arms but I think you could easily get away with SuperPro castor bushes.

The rear arms I bent myself with a pipe bender and then welded angle iron down them oto strengthen them.

You could just put a double cardon joint on the original shaft, however I already had one made just needs to be a little longer and I can keep the other one as a spare. I used a D2 tranfer flange and when machined a spigot (light grey bit) to position a more standard spicer DC joint, rather than use a D2 one that you cannot get repair kits for.

Also managed to get a driving light switch of LR for $18 that fits nicely on the dash.

Fitted an Airtec snorkel today - not overly impressed with the setup and hope for others sake that safari comes up with something better.

Also fitted my ex Td5 uprated intercooler so I can confirm that it has exactly the same mounts as on the Td5.

Nice 110.:)

Just one thing to note is the QT radius arms don't have best reputation.....

A big hit will just bend a standard one.... not so with the QT ones - I have seen a few reports of broken ones:o:eek:
