A mate has a 06 Defender Wagon , He wants to know if a diff centre out of a s1 disco will fit in the the rear of his defender

Reason being he has a 24 spline locked disco centre and wants to know if it will fit the P38 type diff housing in his Defender:cool:

If you know the make of the locking diff, go to the manufactures web site and look it up on their vehicle selction/application charts.

Sorry 110;) , i thought the P38 type diff would have discribed it as a 110:cool:

your're right but I don't assume anything,

you can fit the disco diff centre into the P38 diff with a 5mm spacer to get the right offset :

I gather that spacer goes in between the crown wheel and the carrier:eek:
