and I wish to get rid of one of them,,,
"disc management" wont let me do it,,
as far as I can see, there no facility if you boot off the dvd,,
any ideas?

I thought Vista could do that stuff.

Would it be possible to go in from good old DOS - and either do a fdisk - or even a basic format to clean out the OS from the volume you don't want.
After a format - you may find you might be able to remove the volume using the disk management within Vista
Just a thought

Start>Run and then type MSCONFIG
You can then disable the other partition.

yep,, takes me to system configuration,,
cant see anything there that could help,,
in BOOT
there is nothing to alter,,,

You should be able to alter the Boot menu (Boot.ini settings).
I'll have to fire up my laptop to check, don't have this problem with a Mac:D
Second half's started so will have to wait for NSW to get flogged :D

yep,, stores etc
vista says it will "run with admin privledges,,"
but then nothing opens/happens,,,,,:confused:
