Does anyone know if a quickmap quikmaps.com :: maps for the masses (http://quikmaps.com/) can be saved for use with oziexplorer?
If so - how?
Thanks
Garry

do-able but not easy....
mark a pair of known points accurately on the map...
save the image to .jpg
import it to ozi explorer then use the calibrate map function...
Id suggest that with the resolution of map you will be using that its not worth the hassle as you wont get much coverage by the time you get down to a resolution where the accuracy will be acceptable and when your on the larger scales that show you the long trips you could easily be a couple of K's out with your placements of your reference points which makes the map calibration near on worthless.

Thanks - I am happy to orient maps in oziexplorer but I did not know you could save the maps as a jpg. Resolution is not an issue if you choose the correct scale in the first place - when you zoom in the resolution seems quite useable.
Cheers
