That has (in that guise) I think as it's not my car but at the time was 3" suspention, 1" or 2" body (not sure) off set rims with LRA flares.
worked pretty well

Keeping in mind that I'm more into D2's, I thought that 2" suspension + 2" body + cut guards and flares + offset rims was fairly standard when fitting 35's to a Disco1 or RRC. Then Barwork lift to suit.

hey all,
I have already ordered front and rear ashcroft axels and cvs and have a rear jack mac locker. Thanks
I've just fitted Ashcroft Axles and Cv's. Just be aware if you have an early model Disco you will need to change your stub axles and have them machined. I've just had to find all this out the hard way.
I'm not sure about 95 onward models though.

pretty much what slunnie has written will fit 35's,jamie of allranges disco has 80 series shocks and 2 inch body lift and lra xl flares and has excelent wheel traval, then just change things when you break things

Diffs, axles and ratio's. ARE the most important part to this combo;)

I have on mine 3 inch spring lift. 40 mm body lift, LRA flares and offset rims. Looks very similiar to Jamie's even the bend in the aerial, or should I say his looks similiar to mine - mine was done first :p

This is the bit you need to do to get it all to work properly.

Hey Travis,
I have 3-4 inch spring lift, 2inch body lift, flares, 4.11s, au CVs, Maxi's and reduction gears. I have offet rims and also had to extend the rear bump stops drastically to stop the tyres hitting hard on the back corners of the inner guard. Let me know if you need any other details.

I run 35/12.5-15 Maxxis Creepie Crawlers with 3" Suspension Lift 40mm Body lift on My Ser 1 Disco ! The OD on those tyres are slightly more than 35/10.5 Simmex so I would think you would easily clear them with a similar set up! I cut at least a couple of inch's out of my guards and fitted 100mm ABS Scorpion Racing flares. I also run J/Mac Rear & front Maxi Axels with Detroit Lockers. The 1 biggest improvement I made was fitting 4.11 CW& Pinion Sets that brought the gearing back to where it should be ! (other than the 4.6 that is :twisted:) The one other thing I am doing when they arrive is fitting Wheel spacers to widen her stance a bit !
Almost forgot .......I also fitted a Scorpion Racing EVO Kit that gave me h/duty longer bump stops and extended brake lines !
Cheers

Just a question and a bit oif a hyjack, where are we these days with wheel spacers and the law?
They used to be a no no but more and more blokes are using them and Ive even seen cars go through RWC with them recently.
Are they still not legal but not policed or is it that the law has been loosened in that area?
