Not really Roger, one of the things we do before lighting up a larger area is a test burn, this confirms the rate of spread, and that it will actually burn within our parameters.

The tree just happened to be a little behind the test area and after a while due to the preheating, the fire ran up the bark.

It demonstrates why, if you are in a bushfire prone area that smooth barks are preferred to rough barks.

Just that everything looked so green in the first 'graph that it didn't enter my thoughts that you would be testing for a HRB.
