G'day Jeep Boy

Someone on here may chip in with a bit more of a technical response but I'll give you the laymans version.

Look under your Disco at the CV joints from the front. You will notice a bolt sticking out just in front of the CV joint, it will probably be sticking out about 5 cm or so, you will notice it because it looks a little weird. That is basically your steering stop, adjust those out a bit and you should find it will solve your rubbing business ..... hope this helps .....

Someone correct me if i am wrong ....Cheers

I'm pretty certain it is the same as on my 110 on your D1 - if not, someone will correct me!

On the front of each swivel housing you will find a large bolt whose head hits the flange on the sphere when on full lock to the opposite side. This is your adjustment. It has a lock nut on the other side of the housing. Book says 20mm clearance between the tyre and the radius arm.

Hope this helps.

No, loosen the nut on the back, adjust it then tighten the nut. Loktite won't hurt, but is unnecessary.

G'day jeep boy.Ive just bought some 265/75 for my Disco as well second hand.Mine are going on the 16 inch alloy.Do you have a lift on yours and do they rub the guards much? Also do they stick out past the guard at all? I was about to start a thread about it but you might be able to tell me.Thanks
