Does anyone have one of these or know just
what it actually is capable of doing ?

link here ROVAIR (http://www.labtronx.com.au/page3.html)

I assume it can't rectify a leaking valve, only computer faults ?

The basic ROVAIR won't cover a leaking valve block but the ROVAIR PLUS does I believe. Lee spent a lot of time developing this bit of kit & it's very good.
Give him a call. He'll be more than happy to have a chat to you about it.

It replaces the computer on either the Classic or P38A.

Unplug computer, plug this in and manually control compressor operation as well as inflating/deflating the air springs.

I've only used it to get PaulP38A home from Sydney to Canberra.

If the valve block is leaking, this version won't help.

Can it be used to select a "ride height" by pumping up until you
stop it increasing height (manually) at a desired level ?

Yes. It comes with a tape measure so you can adjust the heights to be same at all corners.

It won't work on the D3.

This was posted in the D3 zone.

Sorry, I didn't realise this thread was in the D3 zone :(.
Touch wood, the air suspension has been pretty reliable so far in the D3.

The D3 and RRS air suspension operate at around 300psi which is way above the 150psi of earlier Rangies and what Rovair use.

I havent been able to find after market fittings rated for this higher pressure. I had assembled an emergency kit that got me home several times in my 93 LSE but 300psi in the D3 is a bit too high for me to play with.

Only about 210 to 230 psi but it i stilla lot of pressure. Found out when developing the adjustable rod system, kept blowing lines.
