Will these wheels fit on to my Discovery 3 V8 HSE?

I believe the offset on the Discovery 3 is +52

Im not sure what the effect would be.

You'd need to check:

PCD -- pitch circle diameter. The size of a circle made through the centre of each stud. D3 is 120mm, written as 5/120 as it has 5 studs. Don't know about FFRRs.

Load rating. Forget what D3 is, think it's 960kg min.

Stud diameter.

As for the offset, yes that's out, but not enough to be concerned about.

The rim diameter is ok for a V8 D3, min 18s on those.

I think you'll find they are a direct fit. You won't even need hub aligning rings (as one does if fitting L322/RRS/D3 wheels to a P38A or D2).

Inside you wheels you'll find the rim size embossed on the rim, something like 8EH2x17x52

i.e., rim width 8" and bead lock design EH2
17 inch diameter
52 mm offset.

Ask the seller for the numbers in side the rim.

Ask for photos of all 4 and also the tyre load rate. These don't look originals and may not suit you. Consider that you maybe up for
4 new suitable tyres .... 2 grand + . Search D3UK for choices.
Reshod wheels ofter have underrated/rubbish fitted .... sports cars are prime examples ...... sticker shock in all vehicle classes does exist.

P.S. Have you driven a D3 with 20" at correct pressure ?

No I have not driven a D3 with 20" tyres or any other car with big wheels for that matter.

Will I feel every little bump I go over? I have heard that about the bigger wheels.

Maybe its not worth the hassle, I might just stick with the muddies I was going to buy anyway, and worry about the road tyres next month.

Im never sure about putting non standard gear on the car as it is but too many doubts with these now.

I can say the 20" rims make for a rough ride. If all you were going to do was laps around Philip Island they'd be great, but they're a bit harsh around town. Also the tyres, being so highly speed rated, are thin and prone to puncture.

When the D4 launches later this year, it will have damped rack like
RRS. This is why 20" will be offered on D4 by the factory. I'll be interested
to hear from buyers of this comb. when they hit the market.
We'll have to wait until next year for a few to show up here . Maybe
a demo will be our first exposure.
A whiz around P Is. at 50lb/in on 20" ...... that would be the go :cool:
