who bought maxi drive?

Im a bit behind the times but who ended up buying maxi drive? Did they buy all? Are they going to continue making all?

Barry from Hytuff engineering took over the production of the MD Axles

and MR Automotive do the Rock crawler gears , track rods , not sure about the MD lockers. that 's about all I know.

I believe Hi Tuff and makin the axles, not sure about the centres

no one took over maxi he let the name die.....and sold of plans to MR like said above and barry that used to work with him makes the axles under a new name hytuff

I purchased the Hydraulic PTO pump etc from MR as well.

I have the last set Mal did here for my Rangie:angel: He was a great engineer and improviser in his time. Not very likely Barry from HTE
will get involved in the Rover lockers last time I spoke to him but possible some one else may. How ever may do sals. I can't say much as I am a supplier of HT (Rover only as no one else will do them) around here and AFAIK not official yet:( For now I supply ARB lockers and use Hi-Tough axles:eek: I would not use the ARB if Maxi were still going.;)
