Today I noticed the amber suspension fault light came on " Suspension Fault : normal height only" its an '05 4.0 V6 SE
I thought this might be because I parked it on my driveway which is not flat for about 1 week. Now when i drive it the light goes off after i park the car on flat ground. This is good however whenever i hit the smallest bump ( such as speed bump or gutter or even road bumps) i get " Bing bong" and then suspension fault again.
Has anyone has this problem before? I just want some ammo before I go back to Barbagellos and tell them to GGF. Ive only had the car 3 months and not even got to go off road yet. I am aware there are prob hundreds on pages of this stuff on disco3.co.uk however i do not have time to trawl through that much info.
Cheers

Not sure!
Could be the connector behind the front passenger side wheel arch. It has been known to have corrosion problems on some vehicles. The solution is to hardwire. It's a fiddly job but straight forward.
May also be the compressor is on it's way out. Mine gave up the ghost at arround the 120k km mark.
Someone else will probably be along with other ideas.

Or damaged wiring to any of the height sensors.

I had this when the car was new - I didn't know you had to wait for all the warning lights on the dash to go off (car performs a systems check) before actually starting it.

Same problem but?
I just had the compressor replaced because of low discharge flow from the compressor.

Had the same prob this week while driving Fraser Island - our 1st offroad trip since buying a 2005 SE V6 petrol recently. Didn't slow us down, found that it reset when ignition turned off and vehicle restarted. Certainly gave us a fright though! Kept happening frequently. Intend to take to a dealer this week and get it checked, as well as serviced.

went to landrover as it stuck itself in access height whilst i was in the middle of an off road trip.
Blew the 60A fuse in the compressor and cooked the compressor itelf. New compressor and $1400 later and its good as new :(

Which came first? Cooking, I assume which caused the compressor to seize which blew the fuse?
What temps were you off-roading in?

yeah it cooked and then blew the fuse i assume. it was only about 23 deg but the warning light came on and then it went to normal height with soecial progrms off only and then went right down to access height and with no suspension at all thats why i had to take it in
