Coming home from hell today ( work ) new noise!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thought it may be turbo but son and receiver of all I own when I go, and Subaru wiz Kid, said heat shroud. Sure as, the bolt had rattled out of the mount . Worth a check, sounded like a death rattle.

Let me guess....it was the bolt closest to the firewall and the rattle was at about 2500 rpm ;)

You'd think by now that LR would have broken out its precious supply of loktite to fix this not uncommon fault.

Thanks for the heads up.

Thats the one. I would have thought they would check all fittings/bolts at service considering what they charge. But.....

As far a Land Rover chasing up common faults and trying to rectify them, whats the old saying, "you can lead a horse to water....."

Did you know that the bolt falling out of our sway bar was what was causing our engine rattle and loss of power and limp home mode :lol2:
