Warning light for Maxi dif lock

Can anyone tell me how to wire up a warning light so it is on or off in synch with the locker ?

You should have two wires coming from the switch which is located at the actuator. One wire goes to earth and the other goes to the indicator light. Then you need to run another wire from the other terminal of the indicator light to a wire that is active (+12V) when the ignition is on.
When the switch is closed, the circuit will be complete and your indicator light will be on.
