Check the Disco's battery charge. It's probably dropped below 11.5V. If so charge it up and retry.

Must look at the avatar picture next time:oops2:
Have you got the EKA for the Defender? If so try using that.

I wonder if you accidentley changed the security coding whilst exploring.
Have you used a laptop with Nanocom??? Just makes it a bit easier to use.
Go into the TD5 motor section, click learn security code(or similar, cant exactly remember how its worded) it will re-sync the imobiliser in the ECU.
If this dont work,post again.
GOODLUCK

Hi
just a quick question but did you by any reason change the EKA code
while playing with the Nanocom?
If so have you tried to "RE-sync" ie by inserting the code with the Keys
in the drivers door? Follow the instructions CAREFULLY from the owners manual.
Good Look

Hi Guys
Just had the Defender towed to ALL4x4 at Kotara so Ben can get it going for me he also had problems as i did with his diagnostics not responding to anything. He finally got a fob key wich my vehicle doesn't come with and recoded it to my car to get it started then with engine running he disabled the imobiliser so everything is back to normal if anybody has trouble with any of there Landys i highly recomend Ben and his team at ALL4x4 Kotara, and many thanks to everybody for there advice.
Cheers George

I had a feeling it wasn't the Nanocom that was the problem, we had this security problem with our Disco, but we have a fob and we keyed in the code by using the key in the door to put the code in, but you need the fob to lock and unlock the door to get it to work.
Glad every thing turned out OK.
