Having just redone front bearings on my 110 defender I need to top the swivel hub oil as bearings are oil fed. What grade of oil should I use? Jim

80/90wt gear oil.
85/140 if the hub seals a little off
you can also add a little moresy or stop leak to the same effect.

Use whatever you have in your diffs, as Blknight said: 80/90 or 85/140 are good.

It all mixes up so diff oil is the go.I use 85/140 in everything but the gearbox in my defender.  Pat

i started using hi-lo milk in mine but it splits, so have gone back to full fat is a lot better!
