Well, after the last 2 weeks of fixing some stuff up on my county..

New rear drums
New shoes
Fixed handbrake
New tail shaft
and about 2 cartons of scotch cans in total to keep me company whilst fiddling around with it .:p

I took it for a test run to make sure everything was hunky dory.. BUT.. as i took off from a standing start,, The gear stick moved ALOT to the right hand side...
When i got home i got a friend to watch the engine as i gave it a little blurt in low range, the whole left side of the engine lifted up a fair way...

So, i guess i'm going to be replacing and engine rubber mount this saturday..

My question is..... Should I be able to just unbolt both rubbers and jack the donk up enough to fit in the new rubber mount ???

When i did the engine swap, one of the rubbers was screwed, i did replace that one but not the other... ( now its come back to bite me:twisted:)

Cheers
Mikey

remove the shroud, and you wont have a problem doing the jack up to replace routine.

dont forget to put a piece of rubber or high density foam on a block of wood under the sump prior to lifting.
