no, from memory the bolt pattern is different, but then Ive never done the conversion from rover to holden, usually its the other way around.

You will have to re drill the flywheel to take the L/R clutch /PP.
Also a special spigot bush is needed. Thats what was done in the later conversions............

Thinking back i think the kit i still have is a Rover flywheel drilled to fit a holden engine. I think they machined the flywheel to fit the holden ring gear.
It's buried in the archives somewhere i would have to dig it out to have a look.......

you can buy one, its not a holden or a rover item from memory and its easier to purchase a lump of sintered brass and have one machined up. its not a super precise bearing so its something your average handy man can DIY on a hobby lathe.

TRY marks adapters in melbourn OR DELLOW automotive in sydney i know dellows still do the kit not sure about marks though.
i have the 202 blue & mine is a holden flywheel machined to take the rover clutch...
i rang marks years ago & they sent me up all this info was about 30 pages all on fitting holden engines in landy's..I'll see if i can find it i know i wouldnt of thrown it out..its a good read..

Hello All,
Instead of starting a new thread I found an old one about clutch questions.
So my questions to other Series III owners are:
Is Part Number 592358 really needed?
Has anyone else fitted them or chosen not to fit them?
I took out my old clutch master cylinder and before I went to put in the new one I had a quick check of the Parts Catalogue. The Catalogue shows that there is a Part Number 592358 Gasket Clutch Master Cylinder Pedal Box Series 111. When I took the cylinder out there was not such metal gasket in place on the cylinder or pressed into the pedal box.
The new clutch master cylinder did not come with a new metal gasket and the old master cylinder did not seem to have one.
Kind Regards
Lionel

The only thing that I can think it might be for, is to stop any analytical corrosion between the two dissimilar metals. If this is the case, a smear of silicon sealant should achieve the same thing,
