You should use Toyota, Nissen or if you have to, Bitsarmissing. Didn't Land Rover beat all other brands off road racing there, I may be wrong. This show appears to me to be very pro Toyota/Nisson product and to me most times only depicts 2 guys belting s..t out of 2 vehicles that ARB will repair regardless as long as the product looks good and its obvious they dont have to drive to work on Monday. I find the only off road show worth watching at the moment is 4 wheeling, at least they treat the vehicle with respect and catch some very nice fish.

Land Rovers in Malasia? Why yes, I work with a Malasian Land Rover nut. He's is the Black 110 with the Kangroo on it. Dont ask me why it's got a roo on it, he's a nut.

There was a good episode last night. They went to the Victorian high country and they had a Defender along with them, when the going got tough guess what they were relying on to pull their lesser vehicles out. The guy with the Defender even got to have a few words about how suitable it was in the rough stuff and how he had to keep pulling the others.

Best episode thus far I think as far as a positive for Defenders goes. That 110 duel cab did look the part though in those conditions.

There is a gold coloured Disco 3 owned by one of the sponsors. Its on quite a few of the trips. There is a Wrangler owned by DP Chip on a lot of the trips as well.
I think the Tojos and Patrols are highlighted because they are tricked up, cheaper older models. The Disco could handle the same stuff but who wants to risk damaging a $70K car for our entertainment?

Well I watched a few episodes and gave up.

Not that fussed whether they showed LRs or not but it would be interesting to see some 4x4 off roading instead of continuos dirt road racing.

The thing that turned me off this crap was the total lack of safety.

When travelling in convoy on dirt roads, if they got any closer to one another, they would be in the rear cargo area of the vehicle in front and in one episode they big noted themselves when they rescued someone who was bogged in sand and while making jokes of how bad a driver the other bloke was, here is the brain-dead offsider walking beside the snatch strap as the pulled the bogged vehicle off the beach.

I don’t know if there is a new series but the first few episodes shown some time back were enough to turn me off for good.

My other half feels the same, it's a sure way to get her to do house work, or anything else, but watch your 4x4. She thinks thay are doing to offroad vehicle's as has been done to performance cars. Ruining it for all.

Couldn't agree more. I watched a few episodes on line, including one or two with segments on AULRO trips - and it is the most boring crap I think I've ever come across. Just the voice of the main presenter alone is enough to drive me up the wall.

I know they're not everybody's cup of tea - but the DVD's that come with Australian 4WD Action crap all over this rubbish any day of the week.
    Cheers .........
